Ready to hit the hills, roads, forests and moors? If your bike has been cooped up waiting for the warmer weather (like all of us!) it will need a once over to make sure it’s mechanically safe and sound.

My Spring bike health check includes thorough visual inspection of all of the key components of your bike. These include:

Your frame, saddle and cockpit (gear shifters, dropper-post levers, brake systems etc).

Your rims, tyres, spokes and hubs for any obvious signs of wear. This will include an assessment of your hubs for any potential bearing damage.

Your braking system including calipers, pads and cables.

Your drivetrain including chain ring(s), cassette, chain, bottom bracket and cables.

If applicable - a visual check for all e-bike electrical components to highlight any physical damage that may affect performance.

Standard Service Packages

Bikes are like cars. They all need servicing regularly in order to catch problems before they arise. If you can already hear the bearing rubbing or feel the brakes fading then the damage is already done but...salvation is still at hand. See the Repair Guide page for details.
